About Daz and Weekly Chording

Daz has been performing most of his life as a musician, as an instrumentalist, as a vocalist, taking to the stage in musicals in Calgary, and most recently taking up the guitar to self-accompany his voice. With the challenge of learning a new song each week, he started a regular show with the slightly tongue-in-cheek name of Weekly Chording on Facebook showcasing a variety of songs from many sources incuding pop, country, musical theatre, and original music. Daz draws new inspiration from requests and the daily exploration of music in his regular life.

With Daz you'll experience through voice and strummed guitar a diverse and captivating musical journey through time and emotions featuring classic rock, folk, pop, Disney favorites, and original tunes. From heartfelt ballads to uplifting anthems, a rich blend of melodies will take you on a nostalgic trip while celebrating the power of love, introspection, and the joy of music.
